“There’s an app for that!” reigns true today. In fact, there’s so many out there that it’s hard to keep up with. I’m constantly downloading new apps to try, deleting old ones I no longer use, and trying to figure out how to organize them so they are easy to find on my phone (still a work in progress).
I’ve compiled a list of apps that make my daily life easier– because that’s their job, right?! I wouldn’t say I’m THE MOST tech-savvy, but I have taught myself quite a lot in the last few years as I try to keep this blog up and running. Here’s a list of my favorites… and more importantly, why!
1. LastPass
LastPass is a free and safe password storage manager. This app is truly a life saver, I’m not even exaggerating a little bit. I have been using it for a few years now. What I like most is that I only have to remember one password to get into the app and then the rest of my information is accessible and secure. I have everything from banking info to my amazon passwords. I highly suggest!
*Hint: The strongest passwords are phrases that are very specific to you. (i.e. Mydogeatshamburgersforlunch). I know it sounds ridiculous, but this password should to be impossible to hack.
2. Canva
Creating appealing and engaging content is a huge part of the blogging gig and Canva makes this process so much easier! There are millions of designs and templates to choose from or you can create your own. Sometimes I scroll through simply for ideas and inspiration. I use Canva to create a lot of my instagram stories. The free content is really appealing, especially for new bloggers who don’t have a lot of money to invest initially!
3. Planoly
Have you ever wondered how some influencers create the most beautifully appealing Instagram feeds and stories?! Well, chances are they are using Planoly! I’ve been using the free version of Planoly for a few months now and it has made a huge difference in how I plan my Instagram content. One of my favorite things about this app is that It gives you the ability to see how your new post will look on your Instagram feed before you post it. There’s endless things you can do with Planoly– I still have so much to learn! I might invest in the paid subscription now that my blog is growing thanks you all 🙂
4. Retouch
When it comes to editing pictures, the Retouch app is something I find myself using frequently! It allows you to remove small imperfections from your photo. I’ll be honest, I’ve use it to remove a blemish or two! I love this app, it has saved me from having to retake a picture on more than one occasion! For $1.99 it is well worth it in my opinion!
5. Route
I’ve talked about this app on my stories before, but I’m mad that I didn’t find this app sooner!! It can be stressful keeping track of your online orders, but not with Route! Route shows you when a package has shipped and from where. I love it! 10 out of 10
6. My Fitness Pal
I’ve used a variety of fitness trackers for most of my adult life, but this is the one I keep coming back to! Not only is it free, but it has helped me tremendously as I recently started tracking macros. It is easy to log my meals and I love that I can keep track of my progress and fitness goals! So simple to use!
These are the apps I’ve been using a ton lately. What are your favorite apps to use? I’d love to hear in the comments!
