Hi friends, where do I even begin…
I had a dream of creating this lifestyle blog with my sister, Katlyn, years ago, and when we finally made it happen I was so proud! It was our tiny speck of the internet to share all the pretty things we love and feel inspired by, and we were having a blast staying connected while 500 miles apart (Katlyn in Chicago and me in Kansas City).
Fast forward 1.5 years later and a lot has changed. Katlyn moved back to Missouri, bought an adorable house with her husband (lots of pics to come soon) and added a sweet baby girl to the KC Crew. I couldn’t be more thrilled for her and all the newness to celebrate!
As for me, there’s newness too, just not the newness I was expecting. Let’s just say everything happens for a reason (cliche!) and I’m rebuilding my life one day at a time. If there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that you can have a plan, but sometimes God has a different one– trust the big man upstairs!
If you’ve read this far, thank you. There’s a stigma that bloggers live perfect lives. I am here to say that although I love to make things look pretty, life is often anything but, and I want you to see aspects of both. Life truly is a gift– even the messy parts– and I plan on using every single bit of talent I have. So yes, you’ll see plenty of pretty, but there’s beauty to be found in imperfection and you’ll see plenty of that too!
I’m keeping the name but taking the blog on solo. You’ll still see glimpses of Katlyn (and baby Coco)! Let’s face it… this blog might be called Champagne for Three in a few years!
